In May of 2014, Boelter began helping Balistreri Sendik’s in their efforts to streamline their merchandising to compete with the upscale marketers of the world. Our team met with the Sendik’s Director of Buildings and Grounds, to discuss ways in which Boelter could help them with kitchen design and merchandising innovations. One year and over a $1M later, Boelter managed remodels in Grafton and Wauwatosa, and new openings in Bayside and Heartland. Our designers helped establish a format that let Sendik’s cater to its busy customer base. Boelter’s work with the organization began with the Bayside Sendik’s Fresh-To-Go concept last fall, and last weekend the concept was expanded 4 fold at the Sendik’s Heartland store. This format included updating the kitchen, deli, and butcher area equipment, adding a self-service coffee system, and updating their smallwares package. For Sendik’s Heartland, Boelter is a one-stop-shop.
